Ryan studied commercial diving and has spent countless hours underwater honing his skills to help make SLDNW a success. In addition to his underwater expertise, he’s spent extensive time on the water, developing a strong connection to the marine environment. A dedicated and hardworking individual, Ryan brings a passion for learning and a broad skill set that allows him to take on a wide range of tasks. He is also restoring a 1974 Islander 41 sailboat that had been left derelict on the hard for 30 years. When he’s not working, you’ll likely find him racing his sailboat in local regattas or simply enjoying time on the waterwith his family.
Cranston has been an avid boater from the age of 10 and spends almost all his free time sailing or doing water related things. He races his sailboat often in the Puget Sound. He carries a USCG 50-Ton Master license with Sailing and Towing endorsement and has completed many offshore delivers. He has also been a small business owner since 2014 as a handyman but has always wanted to spend more time on the water.
